Our Friends

I don't have much time now, but I just wanted to post my latest LO; a tribute to some of our best friends. Our friends have always been amazing, but the weeks leading up to the wedding they have impressed us even more!
I'll come back later to write a bit more about it, but as for now, here's the LO :)

Brothers in battle - racing against the clock

I had some pictures of my hubby - then fiance - and his brothers from when we last visited my inlaws. Many of the most important people in my life are guys and I wanted to do a rough layout showing my three family members. Some of the pictures are blurry, I know, but they are meant to be.. :P
I had just been out shopping before I sat down to make this, and thus had picked up a few "rougher" embellishments; the screw brads are from Panduro, the button holding up the ribbon is from Kort&Godt. Papers are from 7Gypsies, DaisyD's and Prima. The dominos were a real bargain! I'm going back to get some more! They're from Sunday Int.com
The clock stamp was something I just had to buy. I saw it in a shop and returned to look at it over and over (I was out to buy some paper, and my "budget" didn't allow a stamp) But I just had to get it, it's from Crafty Individuals. And last; the "Observation" stamp is from 7Gypsies and the texted tape is from Dymo (generously donated from Margrethe.. :) )

I lost myself in a challenge...

I was trying to do this challenge that was posted at a local scrapforum, but I lost myself in it. I wanted to do a double layout of my cat. I have so many pictures of her that are great to scrap, but I don't want to end up a "crazy cat-lady" who scraps nothing but her four-legged fury friend. So I tried to fit as many photos as possible onto this layout. Each of the three photos have more photos underneath..
The challenge was to use lime and a red-ish colour, I started out with a plain lime green bazzill, but decided when I was done that I didn't like it, and started over... Here's the result. But I'm not too happy with this either, so we'll see if it'll survive the summer..

This is me

After searching endlessly online for the perfect paper, I decided it was not to be, and made my own. I asked friends from online to give me adjectives (negatives and well as positives) for this LO, and they contributed generously. Sadly, I could only fit a few;

And here, for your viewing pleasure; two detail shots.

You are mine - and I'm yours?

After more than 8 months since the wedding, I've finally made a wedding LO. Granted, my first ever was with a wedding photo, but since it was my first ever, it doesn't count :P

As I was holding it up for the hubby to "inspect", a fair bit of jokin' on who belonged to who ensued - but that's to be expected, is it not? :P

If you are that way inclined, you can check out the rest of our wedding photos here. I'd also like to point out that I was heavily inspired by Piscine's design. Go check out her stuff - she's good! :)
